Hyderabad: Blood transfusion saves lives. But often because there is no blood, it doesn't work. Donor blood is used for transfusions during surgeries, emergencies, and other treatments. TSCS was founded in 1998 by a small group of parents, physicians, philanthropists and well-wishers dedicated to the treatment of patients with thalassemia and sickle cell anemia. Established a well-maintained blood transfusion center, high-quality blood bank, state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratories and an advanced research center under one roof, supporting over 2,800 registered patients over the past 22 years. TSCS provides free consultations, free blood and transfusion equipment, sales, examinations and meals to approximately 45-50 patients per day.

3) Aarohi Blood Bank:

The Aarohi Blood Bank is an initiative of the non-profit organization Aarohi, which has been operating in Hyderabad for the past 12 years.

4) Sangam Blood Bank:

Sangam Blood Bank has been providing services for 24 years. They also run blood donation camps, medical camps, and health awareness programs for the poor. In addition to blood bank services, they provide free books and medicines to children from low-income families who cannot afford them, as well as bicycles for the disabled.

5) Chiranjeevi Blood Bank:

The Chiranjeevi Blood Bank was established in 1998 by the actor K. Chiranjeevi Charitable Foundation Chiranjeevi (CCT). It is said that he was touched by the many deaths from lack of blood. Recently, CCT also launched the "Chiru Bhadrata" scheme, under which each regular blood donor is provided with an insurance of 7 lakhs, which will be paid from a trust fund.

 6) NTR Blood Bank:

This famous institution is located in Banjara Hills. It was initiated in 1997 by the former Chief Minister of the United States of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, in memory of actor and TDP founder N. T. Rama Rao. Their goal is to support vulnerable children by providing quality education, protecting the health and safety of the population, providing safe blood to the needy and children with thalassemia, and reducing poverty and social injustice.

7) Rotary Challa Blood Bank:

A relatively young blood bank, the Rotary Challa Blood Bank, established five years ago, is equipped with a mobile van that can help collect blood at the doorstep of blood donors. The blood bank is equipped with fractionation equipment, so each donated blood can be used for the benefit of three patients. The bank is also equipped with an apheresis machine so that individual donor platelets can be collected.

 8) Aaradhya Blood Bank:

This is the youngest blood bank in the city, founded in 2022 and located in stage 4 of KPHB.

9) Aayush Blood Bank:

Aayush Blood Bank is located in Vivekananda Nagar, Kukatpali. In a short period of time, he has firmly established himself in the industry.

10) Red Cross Blood Bank:

The Red Cross operates various branches of the blood bank in Telangana. In Hyderabad, their branch is located in Vidyanagar. It was founded in 2000. In addition, most of the super specialty hospitals in the city, such as NIMS, Osmania, Care, Yashoda, Sunshine and KIMS, have their own blood banks.
